Do I still need my booking app?

Yes, keep it for appointments. Booking apps are built for customers who pick a time ahead. Walk-In Waitlist is built for the people who walk in without one, and the two work side by side.

How is a walk-in line different from appointments?

An appointment is a time slot. A walk-in is a person who is here now and wants to know how long it will be. In many booking apps, a waitlist means a list of people who want an earlier appointment if one opens up, not a live line.

Walk-In Waitlist shows each walk-in their place in line and an estimate, and texts them when it's almost their turn.

How do they work together?

Keep booking appointments in the app you use today, for example Booksy, Square Appointments, Fresha or Vagaro.

When a team member has an appointment, set them on break until a time. Their walk-ins see a longer estimate and can switch to Anyone.

Put the QR poster where walk-ins see it, so they join the line instead of waiting at the counter.

Does it read my booking app's calendar?

Not today. You set breaks by hand, which takes one tap. We don't connect to booking apps, so nothing changes in yours.
