In plain words

  • The free trial needs no card, so there is nothing to cancel or refund if you do not subscribe.
  • Cancel any time in the billing page on the website. You keep the service until the end of the month you paid for.
  • We do not refund partial months, except where the law requires it or we made a mistake.
  • Adding or removing seats is prorated automatically.
  • If a charge looks wrong, write to us first and we will fix it.

About this page

This page explains how payments for Walk-In Waitlist end: cancelling, refunds, seat changes, extra texts and disputes. It is part of the Terms of Service. Customers who join a line never pay us anything.

Free trial

The trial is free and needs no card. If you do not subscribe before it ends, the shop simply stops taking customers; you are never charged. If you add a card during the trial, the first charge happens when the trial ends, unless you cancel before.

How to cancel

  1. Sign in on the website and open your shop's Settings, then Billing.
  2. Choose Manage billing. This opens the secure Stripe billing portal.
  3. Cancel the subscription there.

Payments only happen on the website, so the iOS and Android apps have no subscription to cancel in the app store. If you cannot sign in, write to our support email (coming soon) from the owner's email and we will cancel it for you.

What happens after you cancel

  • You keep the full service until the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing more is charged.
  • When the period ends, the shop is suspended: the join page stops taking customers and texts stop. You can still sign in, see your history and subscribe again.
  • Customer information of a suspended shop is erased after 90 days, as the Privacy Policy explains. Your shop's settings stay so you can come back.
  • To remove your account completely, see Delete your account.

Refunds

Subscriptions are paid monthly in advance. We do not refund partial months or unused seats, and cancelling stops the next renewal, not the current month. We do refund:

  • charges caused by a billing error on our side;
  • a charge made after you cancelled before the renewal date;
  • anything the law requires us to refund.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show them.

Seat changes

Every active person on your team list is a seat. When you add seats, Stripe charges the prorated difference for the rest of the current period. When you remove seats, Stripe gives a prorated credit that lowers your next invoices; it is not paid out in cash. The seat count can never go below your active team size; archive a team member first.

Extra texts

Each paid seat includes a number of texts per month, shared by the whole shop. When a shop sends more than its allowance, extra texts are billed in blocks at the price shown on the billing page, up to the monthly limit the owner sets. Extra texts are on by default with a limit of one extra allowance per month; the owner can change the limit or turn them off at any time. Extra texts are billed only while a paid subscription with a card on file is active (never during the free trial), and they are added to an invoice after they are sent. Texts that were sent are not refundable, except for a billing error.

Taxes

Prices do not include taxes. Where sales or use tax applies (for example Puerto Rico's IVU), it is added to the invoice. Tax charged correctly is not refundable by us; ask the tax authority if you were exempt.

Disputing a charge

If a charge looks wrong, write to our support email (coming soon) within 60 days of the charge with the shop name, the date and the amount. We answer within 2 business days and fix confirmed errors quickly. You also have the right to dispute a charge with your card issuer; if you do, a reply from us may still be the fastest way to solve it.
