About this page
This page explains the limits of what Walk-In Waitlist can promise to customers who join a line and to the shops that use it. It is part of the Terms of Service.
Wait times are estimates
The wait shown on the join page, the status page and in texts is an estimate based on the people ahead of you, the services they chose and how long the shop says each service takes. Services can take more or less time, people leave or come back, and staff take breaks, so the real wait can be different. An estimate is not a promise or an appointment.
The shop decides the order
Each shop runs its own line. It may call people out of order, for example when you asked for a specific team member, when someone comes back after missing their turn, or for reasons of its own. The shop may pause or close the line, and may remove people from it. Kallos Labs LLC does not decide who is served or when.
Texts can be late or missing
Texts are delivered by mobile carriers. They can be delayed, arrive out of order or not arrive, because of your phone, your signal, your carrier, filtering or a failure of our providers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Keep your status page open if you need to know exactly when it is your turn. Texts and the status page are not for emergencies.
The shop's services
Shops are independent businesses. They set their own services, prices, hours and policies, and they alone are responsible for the services they provide, for their premises and for their staff. Kallos Labs LLC provides the waitlist tool and is not a party to what you agree with a shop.
Illustrations and examples
Shop names, people, numbers and screens in our illustrations, screenshots and examples are made up to show how the product works. They are not real shops or customers, unless we say so.
Guides and articles
Our guides explain things like running a walk-in line or the rules for business texting in plain words. They are general information, may not fit your situation and may be out of date. They are not legal, tax, financial or business advice. Ask a qualified professional before acting on them.
Links to other sites
Links to other websites are for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
No warranties
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, as set out in the Terms of Service. Some places do not allow some of these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.
